Closet Clean Out

October 1st – 31st 2026

It’s time to clean out your closet for a cause! Throughout October 2026, Lorain’s For Her is collecting gently used fall and winter women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories to support local organizations helping women in our community. Bring 5 or more quality items to Lorain’s during regular business hours and receive a $15 in-store gift certificate as our thank-you. There is a limit of one gift certificate per person per week, but additional donations are always welcome!

This year, donations will benefit MSOE Career Closet, Milwaukee Women’s Center – Bottomless Closet, and Family Sharing Ozaukee – Resale Boutique. By partnering with three organizations, we’re able to find the best home for a variety of donated pieces and help them reach women who can put them to good use.

We are looking for women’s business and business-casual clothing, including blazers, pants, skirts, blouses and dresses, as well as sweaters, outerwear and other quality fall and winter pieces. We are also accepting work-appropriate shoes and boots, handbags, belts, scarves, jewelry and other accessories. All items should be clean, gently used or new, in good condition, and ready to wear.

For this October drive, we are accepting fall and winter items only. Please do not donate socks, underwear, lingerie, workout clothing or pajamas.

Donations can be dropped off at Lorain’s For Her throughout the month of October during regular business hours. Our Closet Clean-Out is a chance to make a little room in your own closet while giving quality pieces a new life and supporting organizations making a difference right here in our community.

Sip & Shop at East Towne Square

Wednesday October 14th 4-6pm

Join us for a Happy Hour Sip & Shop at East Towne Square on Wednesday, October 14 from 4–6 PM! Enjoy sips, samples, and special offers throughout the mall while you shop.

At Lorain’s For Her, we’ll be serving wine in-store and offering Sip & Shop–only specials for the evening. Plus, look for our Lorain’s models roaming the hallways in some of our favorite fall looks—see something you love? Come in and try it on!

Hey Boo! Trick or Treat!

Saturday October 24th 11am-3pm

Join us for Hey Boo! at East Towne Square on Saturday, October 24 from 11 AM–3 PM! Bring the kids for an afternoon of mall trick-or-treating and Halloween fun throughout East Towne Square.

Be sure to stop by Lorain’s For Her, where we’ll be handing out candy to all the little trick-or-treaters! Come dressed in your Halloween best and enjoy a fun, family-friendly afternoon at the mall.

Foxtown Family Fun Day - Pop Up!

Saturday October 24th 11am-4pm

Join us at Foxtown Fall Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 24 from 11 AM–4 PM at Foxtown Station in Mequon! Enjoy a day of seasonal activities, live music, food and drinks, and family-friendly fall fun. Admission is free!

Lorain’s For Her will be popping up at the event with a curated selection of clothing and accessories from the shop. Stop by our booth, say hello, and shop a little taste of Lorain’s while enjoying the festivities!

Sip & Shop - Stonewood, Green Bay WI

Thursday November 12th 6-9pm

Join us in Green Bay for the Stonewood Sip & Shop on Thursday, November 12 from 6–9 PM! Enjoy an evening of shopping, sipping, and discovering a variety of vendors. Admission is free!

Lorain’s For Her is hitting the road and popping up for the evening! We’ll be bringing a curated selection of clothing and accessories so all of our Green Bay ladies can shop Lorain’s closer to home. Come see us, shop your favorites, and enjoy a fun night out!

Winter Market at East Towne Square

Saturday November 14th 10am-4pm

Join us for the East Towne Square Winter Market on Saturday, November 14! The mall hallways will be filled with local artisans and vendors offering unique gifts, cozy finds, and plenty of inspiration to kick off your holiday shopping.

Right outside Lorain’s, you’ll find Jodi Marcus Jewelry, a collection we’re proud to carry in-store, with Jodi herself joining us for the day! We’ll also be celebrating the official launch of Lorain’s holiday gift collection, so it’s the perfect time to get a head start on your holiday shopping and discover something special for everyone on your list.

Our Story

Lorain’s For Her has been a fashion destination for women in the community for more than 65 years. Our story starts with MaryAnn Johnson, the boutique was built on a love for style, quality, and customer connection. Over four decades, MaryAnn created a trusted space where women could discover looks that made them feel confident and stylish.

Her daughter, Kay Newell, proudly carried on that vision and continues to lead Lorain’s today as the owner. Under Kay’s leadership, Lorain’s has remained true to its roots—offering classic looks with a touch of edge—while embracing the ever-changing world of fashion. The boutique has built a reputation for curating high-quality pieces, often made in the U.S.A. and Canada, that customers can wear season after season.

Today, Lorain’s is evolving once again with the addition of fourth-generation family member Megan Coyne, who brings a fresh perspective and passion for connecting with customers both in-store and online. Together with Jodi, Megan has joined Kay as part of the buying team, helping to elevate the store’s look and bring in exciting new brands that speak to today’s fashion-forward women.

Beyond clothing, Lorain’s For Her is about creating an experience. Located in East Towne Square Mall, we’re part of a vibrant collection of locally owned businesses—restaurants, salons, boutiques, and more—that make shopping and gathering with friends both easy and fun.

While fashion trends will always change, our mission remains the same: to serve women with style, quality, and a sense of community that has carried us through four generations and will continue for many more.

Lorain’s For Her has been in the fashion industry for over 50 years, originally ran by my mother – MaryAnn Johnson – for 40 years and then joined by myself – Kay Newell – over 25 years ago.

I have learned that you – my customers – prefer a classic look but like it a little edgy.

Mary Smyth

Stylist

Mary Smyth has been bringing her adventurous spirit to Lorain’s For Her for almost a decade. She enjoys the theater and dance, but also loves to unwind with a good mystery novel.

You can be sure no matter what the event, Mary has a eye for pulling together an outfit for any occasion.

Jodi Marcus

Stylist

Working at Lorain’s for Her Jodi enjoys assisting customers in their fashion selections. She is fun and creative and loves to pull together the perfect outfit.

During free time she travels, spends time with friends and family, and enjoys being outdoors.

Megan Coyne

Marketing & Business Development

Megan is the fourth generation at Lorain’s For Her, bringing fresh ideas to the family business. She works across the boutique, from marketing and buying to helping customers in-store.

With a background in entrepreneurship and marketing, Megan loves helping Lorain’s grow while carrying the family business into its next generation.
